Trust in Jesus - He is Always with Us!

Good morning out there - today is Palm Sunday. Jim and I watched a live streamed
Mass with Father Mike Schmitz (YouTube) at 9:00 am this morning. I miss going to
Mass and I am thankful for being able to watch a LIVE Mass on our television.
EWTN has wonderful programs and we have been watching weekday Masses on the
EWTN channel. Several of our local parish priests are also live streaming Mass and
I'm sure that in your city your priests are doing the same - they are all working hard
to make sure we get to participate in Mass even though we are not able to be there.
Search and find a live televised Mass, turn your phones on silent, and listen to
God's word, pray the prayers, sing the songs, and feel the peace - God is with us!

Last Wednesday I started posting the prayers and scriptures for the daily rosary. I
have done this before in blog posts. I know how important prayer is and wanted to
re-share the beautiful mysteries of the rosary with everyone. I will continue to share
scriptures and prayers because we need to reach out to one another with faith and
hope and encouragement. I've taped the "Image of Jesus - Divine Mercy" picture to
our front door. It faces out so that whoever walks up will see the picture of Jesus.
If you go to Divine Mercy (Let's Seal the Doorposts) on YouTube you can down
load the image. When I took a picture to share with you I noticed that the glass from
the door shows the reflection of our oak tree in the front yard. I was going to crop
the picture but realized the green life of the tree leaves were in a way, symbolic -
God is with us! We have to trust in Him - in good times and in bad times - God is
always with us. How to pray the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary and the prayers
that go with the rosary are below the picture. Blessings and peace to all of you!
If you do not have a rosary and would like one - I would be so happy to send one
to you! Leave me a comment with your address and I will mail a rosary to you!

The following are the prayers of the rosary -
The Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in
Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died,
and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from
the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the
Father almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and
lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for
us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be To The Father
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit;
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Hail, Holy Queen
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope,
to thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our
sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears; turn, then, most gracious
Advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us, and after this, our exile, show unto us
the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises
of Christ.

  The family that prays together, stays together!
I know y'all can do it - At least pray one decade!
