Hello out there, I hope you are having a great day! It's beautiful here in San Angelo,  hopefully we will be blessed with rain soon. I'm not sure how often I should attach a post, I really don't know much about blogs at all. So you're probably thinking, then why did you start one.
If you read my previous posts you noticed the links I attached to the letters I had published in the newspaper. When I feel really strong about something, the words just come to me. After my daughter read the letter I had written in July 2013, she told me that if I really wanted to get my message out there that I would have to use the social networking sites. I started saying that I was going to start a blog, and that made everyone laugh because I don't even have a facebook page. I have an older cell phone, and it does not have a texting keyboard, so it takes me forever to reply to a text, unless my response is ok, yes, no, etc. After my letter in January was published, my husband, kids, and some really close friends encouraged me to do more to get my pro-life message out there. That's where this blog  comes in, I'm just telling my story, trying to promote adoption as the life option, as the life choice.
I wish I could explain how heavy the pro-life issue weighs on my heart, at least with this blog, even though I'm totally out of my element, I know I'm trying to do something. In my Catholic daily meditations book "the Word among us" the response today is from Psalm 95:  If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

On a lighter note, the Catholic radio station in San Angelo and the surrounding areas is 91.5, and it is a really informative station. If you aren't Catholic and have questions, the apologetics are on from 5:00p-7:00p Central Time and they answer all kinds of questions. There is great  programming all through out the day. My favorite, is when they sing The Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3:00pm.
I 'll close this post with a verse that always makes me think of the blessings of adoption.
"He gives the childless woman a family, making her a happy mother. Praise the Lord!" (Psalm 113:9)
